We are officially half way through the term! This week we welcomed the onslaught of winter where we spend a lot of time trying to keep students out of the puddles! Although making a huge splash in puddles is a rite of passage, if your child is unable to resist, we would encourage you to pack a spare set of clothes. We are also entering the prime cold and flu symptoms and encourage you to continue to keep children home if they have symptoms and RAT test them if possible, just to be sure.
2023 Enrolments
We are currently taking enrolments for 2023.
It’s time to enroll for 2023 if your child will be starting preschool, reception or high school. Please pop in to the Front Office to collect an enrolment pack for preschool or reception. High school packages were emailed out and the process was completed online.
We are delighted to have families back to Hallett Cove South Primary for parent tours.
We invite you to take a personal tour with one of our leadership team, Vicki or Donna. Please call us on 8381 4080 to book a tour. We would love to see you.
Don’t miss out on Skoolbag Notifications
To ensure you don’t miss out on school communication, please ensure you turn Skoolbag notifications on and make sure you are part of your child’s year group in addition to class and this will ensure you are kept up to date will all the information.
Follow this link for instructions.
Sport
Basketball SA have been running clinics to promote girls participation in Basketball over the last fortnight, which were enjoyed by the students. We would like to thank Brooke and Sam for their coaching.
All classes have been participating in Soccer Sessions through our Sporting Schools Grant.
Reconciliation Week
27th MAY TO 3rd JUNE
This week was National Reconciliation Week. The National Reconciliation Week 2022 theme, “Be Brave. Make Change.” is a challenge to all Australians— individuals, families, communities, organisations and government—to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
Enjoy the weekend and keep warm.
Warm regards
Donna
