Principal’s Roundup
Our staff and school have always put learning first and held the line when it comes to reporting on student outcomes. We are very lucky to have such committed staff who both provide families with a window into your child/ren’s personal learning. Teachers are busy writing feedback for student reports. I would like to acknowledge and thank the hard work and commitment of all the staff at Hallett Cove South Primary School and Preschool.
We are also entering the prime cold and flu symptoms and encourage you to continue to keep children home if they have symptoms and RAT test them if possible, just to be sure.
2023 Enrolments
It’s time to enrol for 2023 if your child will be starting preschool, reception or high school. Please pop in to the Front Office to collect an enrolment pack for preschool or reception. High school packages were emailed out and the process was completed online.
We are delighted to have families back on site to Hallett Cove South Primary for parent tours.
We invite you to take a personal tour with one of our leadership team, Vicki or Donna. Please call on 8381 4080 to book a tour.
We are currently taking enrolments for 2023. We would love to see you.
R-4 Swimming
Years R-4 will be participating in swimming lessons in week 8, 20/6 to 24/6. Please encourage your child to have a go at being independent when dressing themselves. This would be really helpful. Years 5/6 will be participating in Aquatics later in the year.
Long Weekend Reminder
Don’t forget that Monday is a Public Holiday and the school will be closed. Enjoy the extra day of family time. Keep warm! 
I would like to say how much I am looking forward to working with the HCSPS community as the principal for the next 5 years. Together we can make this great school even greater. I will be meeting with the students to talk about what they think would make our school even greater. Look out for their ideas in future Principal’s Round Ups!
